On the morning of November 28, our institute convened the fourth-quarter meeting of the Institute Safety Committee, along with a session on epidemic prevention and control and workplace safety, via DingTalk. The meeting thoroughly studied and conveyed the spirit of the Group (Bureau) documents “Notice on Further Strengthening Epidemic Prevention and Control” and “Reminder on Effectively Carrying Out Supervision of Epidemic Prevention and Control and Workplace Safety,” as well as the spirit of the China National Coal Administration’s safety‑production warning‑education conference, and deliberated and deployed measures to ensure workplace safety and epidemic prevention and control. A total of 43 participants attended, including members of the Institute Safety Committee and part-time safety officers from all departments.
The meeting called on all departments to earnestly study and implement the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on workplace safety and epidemic prevention and control, and to fully carry out the work requirements of the China National Coal Administration and the Group (Bureau). With a sense of vigilance in times of peace, we must remain problem‑oriented, efficiently coordinate workplace safety with epidemic prevention and control, and advance all tasks in a solid, scientific, and effective manner, thereby contributing to the healthy and stable development of the economy and society. We must always maintain a clear head, resolutely overcome complacency and laxity, draw profound lessons from relevant production safety accidents, keep workplace safety firmly at the forefront of our minds, truly treat employees as family and as part of our own household, ensure that enterprise development is balanced with employee safety, and guarantee that the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is concretely implemented and put into practice in our hospital’s workplace safety efforts. All departments and project teams are required to promptly monitor local governments’ epidemic prevention and control policies and requirements, strictly comply with these local regulations, and diligently perform all related coordination tasks.
At the turn of the year, all departments must coordinate production and operations with epidemic prevention and control, integrating workplace safety with pandemic response to minimize the impact of the epidemic on business activities. They should maintain unwavering commitment to safe production and ensure that operations continue without interruption. Furthermore, each department is expected to holistically manage construction, safety, and epidemic‑prevention efforts, spare no effort in achieving the year’s goals and targets, and carefully plan next year’s initiatives, thereby underpinning the institute’s high‑quality development with a high standard of safety assurance.
