Organization Overview

International Cooperation

In 1997, Sinochem Shandong Institute officially began undertaking international projects, taking on a sand‑gold mining project in Bolivia under the former Geological and Mining Bureau of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, thereby gaining valuable experience in conducting overseas operations.

In recent years, the institute has undertaken nearly 20 projects funded by the Central Government’s Overseas Risk Exploration Fund. It has collaborated with leading enterprises such as PetroChina, China National Machinery Industry Corporation, China National Agricultural Development Group, and China Railway Group, carrying out mineral exploration, engineering surveys, geophysical prospecting, mapping, and well‑drilling operations in nearly 20 countries, including Chad, Niger, Laos, Vietnam, South Sudan, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Mozambique.

Drawing on more than 20 years of solid, extensive experience in international geological work and a service philosophy of “honoring contracts and upholding credibility,” the institute is steadily developing its overseas geological operations into a distinctive brand with strong market competitiveness.
