The year 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s proposal of the Overall National Security Concept, and April 15 is the ninth National Security Education Day. To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on comprehensively strengthening national security education and to enhance public awareness of national security and the rule of law, our institute recently launched a campus-wide legal publicity campaign in observance of National Security Education Day.

This event was themed “The Overall National Security Concept: Ten Years of Innovation-Driven Progress,” and through a variety of formats—including interpreting legal‑education materials, watching videos, studying written resources, and promoting via official WeChat accounts—it vigorously highlighted the historic transformations and landmark achievements in national security in the new era. A broad range of cadres and employees studied key national security laws and regulations, such as the National Security Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Cybersecurity Law of the People’s Republic of China, and the Data Security Law of the People’s Republic of China.

This legal awareness campaign has further strengthened the national security consciousness of all staff members across the institute and enhanced our ability to prevent and defuse major risks through legal means. Moving forward, our institute will continue to institutionalize national security–related legal education and publicity, organize extensive study of national security laws and regulations among cadres and employees, earnestly implement the holistic approach to national security, coordinate high-quality development with a high level of security, and effectively improve the practical effectiveness of our work.
