Recently, the China National Bureau of Coal Geology issued the “Decision on Commending Advanced Collectives and Individuals in Work Safety, Emergency Rescue, and Traffic Safety for the 2020–2021 Period,” under which our institute was awarded the honorary title of “Advanced Collective in Work Safety.”
In recent years, under the sound leadership of the China National Coal Administration and the Group (Bureau), our institute has consistently placed workplace safety at the forefront of its priorities. We have steadfastly upheld the safety bottom line, strengthened foundational measures, clarified responsibilities, intensified on-site supervision and oversight, and deepened efforts to identify and address potential hazards. We have continuously refined and improved our standardized safety management system, vigorously advanced the three-year concentrated campaign for workplace safety, and comprehensively achieved the safety and environmental protection targets set by the Group (Bureau). As a result, we have been certified by the Shandong Provincial Emergency Management Department as a Level‑2 standardized safety unit. Over the years, ten of our project sites have been recognized by the Group (Bureau) as “Standardized Safety Construction Sites,” and five project teams have been awarded the title of “Red Flag Safety Teams.” Through solid and effective work, we have provided robust safety and environmental safeguards that support the high‑quality development of our institute.
Going forward, our institute will remain guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly study and implement the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety, and firmly shoulder both political responsibility and responsibility for production safety. In accordance with the requirements of “joint responsibility of the Party and government, dual responsibility for each post, and concerted efforts under unified management” and the principle of “three controls and three musts,” we will rigorously strengthen key safety‑prevention measures, press ahead with renewed vigor, and ensure the full achievement of our 2022 safety and environmental protection objectives.
