To thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on establishing and practicing a correct view of official achievements, fully carry out the relevant arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and higher-level Party committees, and effectively use this correct view to guide high-quality development, On March 4, our institute convened the fifth special Party Committee meeting of 2026 and the first meeting of the Party Building Work Leading Group, officially launching the institute’s study-and-education campaign to establish and practice a correct view of political achievements. Members of the institute’s leadership team, secretaries of all Party branches, heads of various departments, and staff from the Party affairs department attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on studying excerpts from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on establishing and practicing a correct view of official achievements, the relevant notice issued by the Central Office, and the spirit of a series of work arrangements from higher-level Party committees. It also conveyed the “Party Committee of the China National Bureau of Coal Geology’s Guidelines on Strengthening…” In accordance with the requirements of the “Notice on Implementing Decision-Making Matters under the ‘Three Major Issues and One Significant Matter’ Framework,” efforts to advance study and education have been strengthened to lay a solid ideological foundation. The meeting deliberated and decided to establish a special task force for study and education under the Party Committee of Shandong Institute, which will comprise four specialized working groups—including a comprehensive coordination group and a problem identification and rectification group—while clearly defining the responsibilities and division of labor among these groups. This has established a well‑coordinated, clearly delineated, and collaboratively driven working system, providing robust organizational support to ensure the effective implementation and tangible results of the study and education initiatives.
The meeting laid out a comprehensive plan for the institute’s efforts to establish and put into practice a correct view of political achievements, emphasizing close alignment with the bureau (group). In light of the “15th Five-Year Plan” development framework—“123456”—the work arrangements set forth at the beginning-of-year meeting, and the Shandong Institute’s core responsibilities in geological exploration, we will deeply integrate learning and education with our central tasks and advance them in concert. First, we must elevate our perspective and fully recognize the profound significance of establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, treating learning and education as a major political task. Second, we must press ahead with solid implementation, ensuring that all measures outlined in the learning and education program are rigorously put into practice. Third, we should use learning to drive action, seizing this opportunity to strengthen our commitment to practical work and assume greater responsibility, thereby striving to deliver outstanding new results.
At the meeting, participants engaged in an in-depth discussion on the implementation of study and education initiatives and their application to the institute’s pursuit of high-quality development. They unanimously agreed to take this learning and education campaign as an opportunity to further align thinking, build consensus, and remain committed to… Upholding the original aspiration of “prospecting for minerals for the country and serving the people,” we will integrate a sound view of political achievements into every aspect of our work. With a more pragmatic approach and more robust measures, we will steadily advance all key tasks for the year, strive to ensure a strong start to the Shandong Institute’s development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and contribute the Institute’s strength to supporting national strategies and the high-quality development of the industry.
