Recently, our institute convened the 2023 Commission for Discipline Inspection (Expanded) Meeting and a study session on the education and rectification of discipline inspection cadres, adopting a hybrid format combining in-person attendance with online participation via DingTalk. The meeting was chaired by Yang Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection.

The meeting implemented the “first‑item” system and jointly studied the “Measures of the Party Committee of the China National Bureau of Coal Geology on Handling False Accusations and Frame‑ups and on Clearing the Names of Cadres.” These measures were formulated in accordance with internal Party regulations, including the Constitution of the Communist Party of China, the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the CPC, the Regulations on the Protection of the Rights of CPC Members, and the Rules for the Handling of Reports and Complaints by Discipline Inspection and Supervision Organs, while taking into account actual work conditions. Their purpose is to standardize the order of letters and visits and complaints in line with Party rules and discipline, address false accusations and frame‑up reports, restore the reputations of cadres who have been unjustly accused, further stimulate the enthusiasm of Party members and cadres to work and start businesses, encourage them to take responsibility and act proactively, and foster a clean and upright political environment.
In accordance with the “Work Measures of the Shandong Institute’s Commission for Discipline Inspection on Carrying Out Education and Rectification among Discipline Inspection Cadres” and other relevant arrangements, and in light of the actual conditions of our institute’s discipline inspection work, participants jointly studied selected excerpts from works such as “Selected Excerpts from Xi Jinping’s Expositions on Upholding Strict Party Discipline and Rules” and “Loyal Guardians: A Collection of Profiles of Outstanding Role Models in the National Discipline Inspection and Supervision System.” They were urged to ensure that members of the institute’s Commission for Discipline Inspection and discipline inspection cadres strengthen their wisdom through study and enhance their capacity to deliver results, focus on key and difficult issues, and carry out routine oversight in a thorough and meticulous manner, thereby demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of Shandong Institute’s discipline inspection personnel through new, precise achievements in supervision, disciplinary enforcement, and accountability.
