[Party Discipline Study and Education] Our hospital organized an educational warning activity titled “Strictly Uphold the Disciplinary Bottom Line and Fortify the Integrity Defense Line.”
To implement the requirements of the Discipline and Rules Education Month and to deepen and solidify Party‑discipline study and education, on May 29 our institute organized mid‑level and above Party members, non‑Party leading cadres, members of the Institute’s Commission for Discipline Inspection, secretaries of all Party branches, and discipline inspection committee members to visit the Lixia District Grassroots Integrity Culture Education Base—jointly established by the Lixia District Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision and Yaojia Subdistrict—for on‑site警示教育. By drawing lessons from specific cases and using them as cautionary examples, the event further educated and guided Party members and leading cadres to strictly adhere to disciplinary red lines and fortify their defenses against corruption. Party Secretary and President Wang Qingfeng attended the entire event and led all Party members in reaffirming their入党誓词, firmly keeping their original aspirations and mission in mind through these solemn vows.
At the event site, guided by the docent, participants sequentially explored three educational sections—Party Self‑Revolution, Constant Vigilance, and Lixia’s Culture of Integrity—gaining an in-depth understanding of key milestones in the Party’s anti‑corruption efforts across different historical periods, as well as the achievements of Lixia District in fostering a culture of integrity. Through this learning, they examined 12 typical cases of disciplinary and legal violations, including “feather‑plucking” corruption since the 18th National Congress, breaches of red lines leading to being “hunted,” profiting from personal tastes and preferences, family values gone awry causing widespread harm, spiraling from minor misconduct into systemic corruption, duplicitous behavior as both officials and businessmen, losing one’s way due to psychological imbalance, exploiting one’s position for rent‑seeking, seeking solace in spiritual emptiness, serving as protectors for criminal gangs, youthful recklessness ruining lives, and accountability for dereliction of duty and oversight failures. They also watched video recordings of court proceedings involving former high‑ranking state officials such as Zhou Yongkang and Ling Jihua, who were brought down for corruption, along with short educational videos—“Integrity Brings Blessings” and “Greed Brings Calamity”—presented in both positive and cautionary formats. Through these vivid cases and heartfelt confessions, participants received a vivid and profound lesson in廉洁 (integrity) and anti‑corruption education.
Following the警示教育 session, Pan Weicai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, delivered a brief yet impactful party lecture on the theme “Uphold Rules and Discipline, Strengthen Oversight, and Provide Solid Support for the High-Quality Development of Shandong Institute.” Drawing on two typical cases involving related-party transactions and improper dining and entertainment, as well as an internal case from several years ago, he used these examples to underscore key lessons. He then shared insights from the perspectives of “observing rules and discipline” and “enhancing oversight,” offering attendees a compelling and thought‑provoking lesson in disciplinary education.
This cautionary education campaign has served both as a vivid lesson in Party discipline and as a profound ideological cleansing. All Party members and cadres will further strengthen their ideals and convictions, firmly uphold the awareness of red lines, constantly maintain self-discipline, and remain mindful of the perils of greed. They will conscientiously ensure that their minds are always on guard and their actions are always restrained, thereby fortifying their ideological defenses against corruption and degeneration and forever preserving the political integrity of honesty and incorruptibility.
