The Seventh Party Branch has completed its leadership transition election.

On October 16, the Seventh Party Branch convened a general meeting of all party members to conduct the branch’s leadership election. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Constitution of the Communist Party of China and the Regulations on Electoral Work of Primary-Level Party Organizations, a new branch committee was democratically elected.
The previous branch committee presented its work report to the congress, and the meeting voted to approve the “Election Procedures,” the proposed list of candidates for branch committee members, and other related matters. Subsequently, through secret ballot and a system of proportional representation, a new branch committee was elected, consisting of three members: Gao Dong, Xue Qiang, and Guo Zhaofu.
At the first meeting of the Party Branch Committee, Comrade Gao Dong was elected as the secretary of the new-term Party Branch, and the responsibilities of the other committee members were assigned. Following deliberation and discussion by the Committee, Comrade Xue Qiang was appointed as both the Organization Secretary and the Discipline Inspection Secretary, while Comrade Guo Zhaofu was appointed as the Publicity Secretary. The relevant election results shall take effect upon approval by the Hospital Party Committee.
Comrade Yang Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the institute, attended this Party members’ meeting in his capacity as an ordinary member of this branch.
Officials from the Party and Mass Work Department (Party Committee Office), the organizational officer of the institute’s Party Committee, and relevant personnel from the discipline inspection department attended the meeting as non-voting participants.
