　　On the morning of October 22, the First Branch Committee of the Shandong Geological Exploration Institute of China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau (referred to as the First Party Branch) convened a general meeting of party members to carry out the branch’s leadership transition election. In accordance with relevant provisions of the Constitution of the Communist Party of China, the Regulations on Election Work of Primary-Level Party Organizations, and other related rules, the new branch committee—comprising Deng Juemei, Li Zheng, Yang Xiaomin, and two other members—was elected through secret ballot and a proportional representation system.
　　Following deliberation and decision at the first meeting of the Party Branch Committee, Comrade Yang Xiaomin was appointed Secretary of the First Party Branch; Comrade Li Zheng was appointed both Organization Secretary and Discipline Inspection Secretary; and Comrade Deng Juemei was appointed Publicity Secretary. The relevant election results shall take effect upon approval by the Institute’s Party Committee.
