　　On the afternoon of October 29, the Third Party Branch convened a general meeting of all its members and, in accordance with organizational procedures, elected a new branch committee.
　　The conference opened to the solemn strains of the national anthem. Comrade Zhu Guangji, on behalf of the previous branch committee, delivered a work report, comprehensively summarizing the committee’s achievements, the progress made, the problems encountered, and offering recommendations for the next term. In accordance with established procedures, the conference voted to approve the work report, the election rules, the list of candidates, and other relevant matters. Through a competitive, secret ballot, Comrades Yin Xing, Yin Xiuzhen, and Zhu Guangji were elected as members of the new branch committee. At the first plenary session of the branch committee, Comrade Yin Xiuzhen was elected secretary by secret ballot. Following deliberation and discussion by the committee, Comrade Yin Xing was appointed publicity officer, and Comrade Zhu Guangji was appointed organizational officer and discipline inspection officer. The results shall take effect upon approval by the Party Committee of the institute.
　　At the meeting, the newly elected members of the Party branch committee each delivered statements, unanimously pledging to further strengthen their sense of purpose, enhance their service and management capabilities, standardize and reinforce the work of the Party branch, remain steadfast in their confidence and true to their mission, seize new opportunities, adapt to the new normal, implement new measures, and elevate both the branch’s work and the department’s operations to a higher level.
　　The meeting concluded successfully to the stirring strains of the international anthem. Officials from the Institute’s Party and Mass Work Department (Party Committee Office) and relevant members of the Discipline Inspection Department attended the meeting as non-voting participants.
