In accordance with the work plan outlined in the Party Committee’s implementation scheme for the thematic education campaign on “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind,” on November 15, Sun Xinyong, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President, delivered a special Party lecture to all members of the Resources, Environment, and Hydrology Party Branch and the Geological Survey and Mineral Development Party Branch. The lecture focused on the theme: “Roll Up Our Sleeves and Strive for Rigorous Implementation; Seek Truth from Facts and Dare to Shoulder Responsibility—Uphold Our Original Aspiration and Live Up to Our Mission, and Strive Unremittingly to Realize the Great Chinese Dream.”
During the class, Comrade Sun Xinyong pointed out: For each of us, our original aspiration and mission are to secure benefits for our colleagues and to drive the development of our organization. As members of the Communist Party of China, we can only fulfill our commitments through concrete action. National progress depends on pioneering pioneers who understand the value of practical work; corporate growth requires dedicated employees to propel it forward; and personal advancement likewise hinges on decisive, hands-on efforts. In short, pragmatism is the prerequisite for doing our jobs well, an essential quality for every qualified employee, and, above all, the key to success on our professional journey.
Comrade Sun Xinyong also expressed his earnest hopes for the young professionals of our institute: When the youth thrive, the nation prospers; when the youth are strong, the nation is strong. If the younger generation is idealistic, capable, and responsible, and if the people have faith, then the country will have a bright future, and the nation will have hope.
