To ensure the smooth handover of our institute’s retired personnel to socialized management and to effectively implement the relevant policies and directives of the CPC Central Committee and higher authorities, on December 1 and 2, our institute convened symposiums in Jinan and Tai’an, bringing together a group of retired colleagues and representatives of retired Party members. At these meetings, institute leaders—including Party Secretary and Vice President Wang Qingfeng, and Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection Yang Cheng—along with responsible officials from the Human Resources Office, briefed attendees on pertinent national and local regulations and addressed, on the spot, issues of widespread concern among retirees, such as pension payments and the disbursement of non‑statutory allowances.
The hospital leadership emphasized that the socialized management of retirees is a major decision and strategic deployment made by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and that we must recognize the importance and far-reaching significance of this work from the standpoint of political awareness. Implementing socialized management for retirees of state-owned enterprises enables them to better access a wide range of services and benefits—such as pension provisions, medical care, education, and cultural activities—while enjoying more convenient, professional, and efficient support provided by the community. Socialized management of retirees is not merely a matter of “paying dues and being done with it”; our hospital will work closely with the community to ensure that all the safeguards and benefits of concern to retirees are effectively put into practice. We will also continue to conduct unscheduled visits and offer condolences, organize symposiums and exchanges, and maintain strong emotional ties with retirees. With regard to issues such as non‑uniform allowances that have been of particular concern, we will strictly adhere to relevant documents and regulations issued by higher authorities, doing our utmost to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of retirees and thereby allaying their concerns and doubts.
Following a series of symposiums and exchanges, participants spoke freely and reached a consensus, recognizing that the transfer of socialized management for retirees is a major policy decision made by the state and an inescapable political responsibility. All parties will actively promote awareness of relevant documents and policies, as well as the spirit of the symposiums, and provide full support to ensure the smooth completion of the transfer of socialized management for retirees at our institute.
