On February 5, Shang Honglin, Party Secretary, Chairman, and Director, received a delegation led by Wu Yan, Director of the China Building Materials Industry Geological Exploration Center. The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on topics including corporate management, industrial transformation and upgrading, and technological innovation.

Shang Honglin welcomed Director Wu Yan and his delegation, providing a detailed overview of the Group (Bureau)’s background, core business lines, and development strategy. Focusing on institutional reform, he shared insights into the experiences and lessons learned from establishing regional and specialized subsidiaries during the transition to a corporate model, and engaged in an in-depth discussion on potential cooperation between the two parties in the mining and mineral‑rights sectors.

Wu Yan outlined the China Building Materials Industry Geological Exploration Center’s key business developments in recent years, as well as its advanced corporate management practices—particularly its approaches to industrial consolidation, high-quality development, and internal market‑oriented mechanisms—and presented several monographs authored by Song Zhiping, former chairman of China National Building Material Group, as a gesture of sharing valuable insights.
Both sides expressed their willingness to establish a regular exchange mechanism, to learn from one another, share resources and expertise, and make joint progress; they will advance institutional reform in a coordinated manner and work together to explore multi‑faceted, mutually beneficial cooperation.
