On March 1, Xu Xiaolian, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director-General of the China National Coal Administration, together with Yu Yunqiang, Chairman of the Trade Union and Head of the Planning and Development Department, paid a visit to Shandong to discuss business matters and conducted a fact-finding tour of our institute.
At the symposium, Xu Xiaolian first extended warm New Year greetings to all attendees. Dean and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Diao Haizhong, and Party Secretary and Vice Dean, Wang Qingfeng, respectively presented reports on the institute’s progress in key economic indicators, its Party-building efforts, and the challenges and difficulties currently encountered in the course of reform and development.
In his concluding remarks, Xu Xiaolian fully commended the achievements our institute has attained over the past year and set forth specific requirements for the next phase of work: First, clearly define the direction of development and the institution’s role, and intensify efforts to advance ecological civilization; second, accelerate enterprise reform, particularly the reform of the employee income distribution system, to invigorate growth; third, formulate and refine the Shandong Institute’s 14th Five-Year Plan, aligning it with national policies and market demands, strengthening its distinctive industrial chains, and enhancing core competitiveness; fourth, focus on the institute’s primary responsibilities and core business, pursue transformation in overseas geological operations, promote high-quality, sustainable development, and ensure steady, long-term progress.
Members of the hospital’s leadership team, heads of all departments, and secretaries of the Party branches attended the symposium.
