To further implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the symposium on advancing the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, from March 18 to 20, Liu Xingwang, General Manager of the Group (Bureau), Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Deputy Director, paid visits in Anhui to Xu Jiwei, Mayor of Chuzhou City; Wang Ganggen, Vice Mayor of Tongling City; and Zhu Xuewen, Director of the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources.
During his talks with Xu Jiwei, Liu Xingwang stated that the Group (Bureau) attaches great importance to the Chuzhou market and is committed to earnestly implementing the “Two Mountains” theory and the principle of ecological conservation. In response to Chuzhou City’s development needs, the Group will leverage its technical expertise in comprehensive land remediation across entire regions, ecological restoration of abandoned mines, and mining investment and development, while significantly increasing investments in human, financial, and material resources. It will also strengthen technological innovation to ensure high-quality, on‑schedule completion of the geological environment remediation project for abandoned mines in Fengyang County, Chuzhou, thereby creating a flagship and exemplary project. Xu Jiwei expressed his warm welcome to the Group’s participation in the ecological restoration of abandoned mines in Fengyang County, Chuzhou, and voiced his hope that both sides would take this opportunity to establish a regular information‑sharing mechanism, optimize their business strategies, refine project plans, and innovate cooperation models. He further urged them to continuously expand the scope of their collaborative achievements, broaden areas of partnership, and improve cooperative frameworks, thus ushering in a new chapter of comprehensive strategic cooperation.
During his talks with Wang Ganggen, Liu Xingwang stated that they would closely align with Tongling City’s local economic and social development needs, further strengthen the cultivation of innovative talent, and enhance the application of scientific research outcomes. He emphasized leveraging their professional expertise in areas such as deep‑buried mineral exploration, comprehensive utilization of tailings, and integrated land‑use improvement across the entire region, thereby supporting Tongling’s high‑quality development. In turn, Wang Ganggen expressed his hope that both sides would deepen exchanges and communication, accelerate project alignment, and refine project design plans. By adopting flexible and diversified cooperation models and approaches, they aim to expand opportunities for collaborative development and jointly promote the diversification of Tongling’s economy.
During a symposium with Zhu Xuewen, Liu Xingwang stated that our group (bureau) attaches great importance to cooperation between the two sides. He outlined several large-scale projects undertaken by our group (bureau), including comprehensive environmental remediation and ecological restoration of coal‑mining areas, as well as the achievements made in the ecological‑construction sector. He expressed the hope that both parties would fully leverage their respective strengths in technology, talent, and capital, further innovate cooperation models, and, through mutual learning, mutual appreciation, and mutually beneficial outcomes, contribute to Anhui’s high‑quality economic and social development. In turn, Zhu Xuewen emphasized the desire for the two sides to strengthen exchanges, deepen integration, and pursue high‑quality cooperation; to enhance complementary advantages in resources; to broaden channels of collaboration; and to extend cooperation into industrial and capital‑related areas. He called for attracting more industrial projects and subsidiaries to establish themselves in Anhui, thereby expanding the scope of cooperation, elevating its depth, and raising its overall level. Finally, he urged the two sides to reinforce pragmatic cooperation and deliver even greater results.
Chu City Vice Mayor Gong Jianyong, Tongling City Deputy Secretary-General Liu Xiangyi, Anhui Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources Deputy Director Shi Shenyi, along with principal officials from relevant districts and counties and heads of pertinent departments, attended the symposium. Huang Yongming, Regional Operations Director of the Group (Bureau), Wang Yongming, Director of the Market Development Division, Zhang Yu, Director of the Planning and Development Department, Jiang Xinhua, Director of the Henan Bureau, Zhang Zhongliang, Assistant Director of the Henan Bureau, and Lan Tian, Deputy General Manager of the Fund Company, accompanied the research delegation.
