Our institute organized a public legal education campaign to mark the 2021 National Security Education Day.

On the occasion of the sixth National Security Education Day, from April 12 to 15, our institute, in accordance with the work arrangements of the Group (General Administration), organized a series of legal publicity and education activities under the theme: “Implement the Overall National Security Concept, coordinate development and security, integrate traditional and non-traditional security, and foster a favorable atmosphere in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.”

First, the institute disseminated written and video learning materials through its internal work group, including a promotional video for National Security Education Day, case‑based legal explanations, and 11 relevant laws and regulations—such as the Criminal Law, the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, the Law on Response to Emergencies, the Law on Public Security Administration Penalties, and the Law on Frontier Health Quarantine—tailored to the current COVID‑19 prevention and control context. These efforts helped reinforce the understanding that safeguarding public health and national security through law‑based epidemic control is the responsibility of every individual. Second, the institute’s leadership took the lead in studying the law and organized nearly 170 staff members to participate in a legal‑knowledge quiz on national security.

Through this event, the important principles underlying the Overall National Security Concept and national security work were thoroughly communicated, along with the profound implications of upholding the Overall National Security Concept and safeguarding national security. As a result, the vast majority of employees have firmly established a sense of national security and rule-of-law awareness, recognizing that “national security is the responsibility of every individual.”
