Leaders of the Group (Bureau) visited the site of the iron ore exploration project in the Xueguantun area of Qihe County, Shandong Province, to extend their care and condolences to the workers.

On the occasion of the May Day Labor Festival, Tian Li, Deputy General Manager of the Group (Bureau) and Deputy Director, accompanied by our institute’s President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Diao Haizhong, and Chief Engineer Peng Mingzhang, visited the drilling site of the iron‑ore exploration project in the Xueguantun area of Qihe County, Shandong Province. There, he extended his greetings and best wishes to the workers on the front lines.
At the project site, Tian Li and his delegation engaged in cordial conversations with the workers, carefully inquiring about their working and living conditions, and gaining a thorough understanding of the project’s construction progress. They presented holiday condolence payments, expressing their condolences and gratitude to those who remained on the front lines in the field during the holiday period, and conveyed the warmth and care of the Group (Bureau), as well as the Party Committee, administration, and trade union of the Shandong Institute. Meanwhile, to ensure safe production throughout the holiday season, Tian Li and his team conducted inspections and provided guidance on drilling rig operations and the rectification of safety hazards. They held extensive discussions with the project team on safety matters, fully commended the achievements made thus far, and encouraged the team to press ahead, exemplify the vanguard role of Party members, and strive for new breakthroughs in mineral exploration in the region.


Project team members expressed their gratitude for the care and condolences extended by the General Administration and the institute’s leadership, pledging to carry out their tasks with full enthusiasm and to the highest standards of quality.
Wang Jiguo, Assistant to the President and Director of the General Office; Xiong Yuqiang, Director of the Mineral Exploration Institute; and Wang Juan, Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of the Institute, accompanied the inspection and offered their condolences.
