Shang Honglin Visits Dingzhou City for Inspection and Exchanges

On May 29, Shang Honglin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and Director of the Group (Bureau), led a delegation to Dingzhou City for an inspection and research visit. He also held a symposium with Zhang Tao, Secretary of the Dingzhou Municipal Party Committee, to discuss industrial collaboration and ways to support Dingzhou’s economic development.
Shang Honglin provided a brief overview of the Group’s (Bureau’s) historical evolution, industrial structure, core business, and technological strengths, as well as its significant contributions in recent years to the development and utilization of strategic national mineral resources such as fluorite, all under the “One Foundation, Three Pillars, Two Integrations” industrial framework. He noted that the Group (Bureau) has engaged in numerous national key ecological restoration projects by adopting diverse innovative approaches, yielding substantial results. He expressed his hope that this visit would enable both sides to engage in in-depth exchanges, precisely identify areas for collaboration, and lay a solid foundation for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Zhang Tao extended a warm welcome to Shang Honglin and his delegation, and provided a brief overview of Dingzhou’s economic and industrial development. He noted that Dingzhou is situated at the heart of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei one-hour metropolitan circle, enjoying a uniquely advantageous geographical location. Looking ahead, Dingzhou aims to become a key city within the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei international metropolitan area. Building on its existing strengths in the automotive, sports equipment, equipment manufacturing, and related service sectors, the city will prioritize the development of industrial clusters that integrate ecological sustainability with modern agriculture. Zhang Tao expressed his hope that both sides will further strengthen coordination and cooperation, establish a long-term partnership, and look forward to Sinochem Mingda leveraging its unique capabilities to help Dingzhou build a healthy, eco‑friendly new city.
Through mutual visits and exchanges, the two parties intend to engage in in-depth cooperation in areas such as the development and utilization of selenium-rich soils, the development of forest towns, territorial spatial planning, and architectural correction.
Zhang Caifang, Deputy Secretary of the Dingzhou Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor; Zhang Erwen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Dingzhou Municipal Government and Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Development Zone; along with relevant officials from the Dingzhou Municipal Development and Reform Bureau, the Resources and Planning Bureau, the Urban Management Bureau, and other departments, attended the symposium. Jiao Sen, Chief Engineer of the Group (Bureau), accompanied the delegation and participated in the inspection and exchange, together with representatives from the Market Development Division, Hebei Institute, Geological Research Institute, the Fund Company, and Mingda Ocean Company.
