To deepen the study and education on Party history, carry forward the red gene, inspire Party members, cadres, and the general public to remain true to their original aspirations and always follow the Party, and rally powerful momentum for embarking on the 14th Five-Year Plan and a new journey, on June 16, the “Silver Bells: A Heartfelt Tribute to the Party—Celebrating the Centenary” themed cultural performance by retired comrades of Sinochem Mingda (Sinochem Bureau) was solemnly staged in Zhuozhou. The event was organized by the Institute of Geological Research. Shang Honglin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and Chairman of Sinochem Mingda (Sinochem Bureau), Liu Xingwang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Manager, and Deputy Director, and Wang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the performance.
Shang Honglin delivered the opening address, stating that, under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, Sinochem Geological Bureau has consistently shared the same destiny and aspirations as the motherland. Over nearly 70 years of development, it has grown into the leading enterprise in China’s chemical geology sector—boasting the longest history, the largest scale, the most distinguished expertise, and the strongest overall strength—and has become a key force in implementing the national strategy for ecological conservation. These achievements stand as a testament to the unwavering loyalty to the Party and the broad-minded commitment to the nation demonstrated by generations of Sinochem geologists; they encapsulate our responsibility to shoulder the weighty missions entrusted by the state across different historical epochs, and serve as the fundamental driving force propelling the new generation of chemical geologists to remain steadfastly dedicated to their core mission, ready to set out afresh at this pivotal juncture marking the convergence of the Two Centenary Goals.
The gala featured a dazzling array of highlights, distinguished by the localization of its content, the distinctive character of its presentation formats, and innovative artistic approaches. Most of the performances drew on real-life stories and were created through grassroots “self‑directed, self‑performed” efforts, with genuine emotion and heartfelt sincerity as their guiding principle. The program encompassed a rich variety of forms—songs, poetry recitations, dances, Peking opera, instrumental solos, calligraphy exhibitions, and more—celebrating traditional Chinese culture in diverse ways. It told and brought to life the Party’s inspiring stories and remarkable figures, marking the momentous centenary of the Communist Party of China, showcasing the vigorous spirit of China National Geological workers in this new era who seize every moment, and writing a stirring chapter of dedication: “Staying true to our original aspiration and following the Party, uniting as one to forge ahead.”
This cultural performance created a jubilant atmosphere celebrating the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Participants and the wider audience alike remarked that the event vividly showcased the Party’s glorious journey and remarkable achievements, fostering a sense of pride, responsibility, and mission. Moving forward, they pledged to deepen their study of Party history, striving to gain a thorough understanding and apply what they have learned to their work, thereby translating their learning into tangible results and marking the Party’s centenary with outstanding accomplishments.
