Eight Thousand People Participate in Online Learning; China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau’s Party History Study and Education Campaign Gains New Momentum—A Themed Lecture on “Today’s Prosperous Era, As You Wished” Was Held in Beijing

　　To warmly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, actively foster a positive atmosphere of love for the Party, the country, the enterprise, and one’s family, commemorate revolutionary martyrs, carry forward the red gene, and rally collective strength, the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, in collaboration with China Women’s Magazine, hosted on June 22 a themed lecture titled “Today’s Prosperous Era—As You Wished,” dedicated to sending letters of comfort to revolutionary predecessors. The event featured on-site presentations by four relatives of revolutionary martyrs—Liu Junxiang, Cai Jun, Chou Songliang, and Du Jinli—as well as Comrade Dang Yumiao, one of the “Dang Sisters” from the Tangshan earthquake. Shang Honglin, Party Secretary and Director of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, and Gao Boyan, Party Secretary of the Party General Branch, President, and Editor-in-Chief of China Women’s Magazine, each delivered remarks.

　　At the lecture, Liu Junxiang, nephew of revolutionary martyr Liu Hulan; Cai Jun, great-grandson of revolutionary figure Zeng Zhi; Chou Songliang, daughter of Chou Zigang, the director of the Yan’an Central Nursery who served as the real-life model for the protagonist in “Ah Cradle”; Du Jinli, son-in-law of martyr Liu Zhan’ao; and Dang Yumiao, one of the three surviving sisters from the Tangshan earthquake, read aloud with deep emotion the “Letter to Console the Family.”

　　The briefing highlighted the heroic deeds of Liu Hulan, who, in her brief years, demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the Party and embodied the spirit of “glory in life, greatness in death”; it recounted Zeng Zhi, who set out from Jinggangshan and ultimately returned to its sacred soil, dedicating her entire life to upholding the noble ideal of “devoting oneself wholeheartedly to the affairs of the world, without concern for self or family”; and it told the moving story of Chou Zigang, whose lofty moral character—“everything for the children”—led her to devote her life to the cause of child care. Du Jinli shared the stirring and tragic tale of martyr Liu Zhan’ao, illuminating the patriotic devotion of two generations of the Liu family and their steadfast loyalty and remarkable achievements on their respective fronts in service to the Party and the nation. Party Yumiao, too, recounted a touching story of being nurtured by the Party, named after it, and repaying its kindness, deeply moving countless listeners.

　　Shang Honglin, Party Secretary and Director of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, stated that looking back on the Party’s century-long journey, generation after generation of Chinese Communists have fought tenaciously and striven unremittingly, giving rise to a large number of revolutionary martyrs who faced death without fear and countless heroic figures who persevered in their struggles. This has fostered a series of great spirits and forged the spiritual lineage of the Chinese Communist Party, providing a strong backbone and rich nourishment for our Party’s founding, development, and strengthening. Through this lecture, we have come to deeply appreciate how hard-won the red regime, New China, and socialism with Chinese characteristics are. Employees of China Chemical Mingda must draw inspiration from the inheritance of the Party’s red spiritual lineage to fortify their convictions and aspirations; glean a sense of patriotism and devotion to the country from the beliefs of heroic figures; and draw spiritual strength from the family traditions passed down by martyrs, thereby rallying powerful momentum for work and entrepreneurship. In doing so, they will shoulder the mission of safeguarding the nation’s strategic mineral resources and advancing ecological civilization, and forge ahead on the new journey.

　　This briefing session introduced an innovative approach to Party history study and education, conducting the entire event via live streaming. By doing so, it ensured that the learning outcomes reached every corner of our bureau’s system, with all cadres and employees, Communist Party members working on the front lines of projects, and retired Party members all participating in the initiative. Meanwhile, the event garnered widespread attention across the internet, with over 8,500 viewers tuning in to watch the presentation in real time.

　　Liu Ping, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Women’s Magazine, and Comrade Yang Jing, Deputy Secretary of the Party General Branch and Deputy Director of the magazine, were invited to attend the lecture. Also in attendance were Wang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Bureau’s Party Committee; Lin Guoxuan, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Director, and Chairman of the Trade Union; Yao Chaomei, Member of the Party Committee and Head of the Chief Expert Group; Jiao Sen, Chief Engineer; senior executives based in Beijing; representatives of Party members from Beijing‑based units; all headquarters staff; and 150 employees, including representatives from China Women’s Magazine, who watched the lecture on site.
