As of the end of June, our institute’s “Safety Production Month” campaign has concluded successfully. Over the past month, in accordance with the unified arrangements of the institute’s Safety Production Month Leading Group and taking into account the safety production landscape under the context of routine epidemic prevention and control, our institute has closely adhered to the campaign theme of “Implementing Safety Responsibilities and Promoting Safe Development,” organizing a series of distinctive activities that were both diverse in form and rich in content.
On June 4, our hospital organized more than 80 employees to participate in the 2021 Safety Production Month Kick-off Ceremony and themed signature campaign, under the theme “Fulfilling Safety Responsibilities, Promoting Safe Development,” during which the various tasks for Safety Production Month were planned and assigned.
From June 5 to 30, leaders of the Bureau, institute executives, and responsible officials from the safety and environmental protection departments visited seven construction sites under the institute’s jurisdiction, covering a total distance of over 3,000 kilometers. They conducted safety and environmental inspections, quality assessments, and on-site visits to offer encouragement. The inspections comprehensively reviewed the implementation of production safety responsibilities, progress in targeted remediation campaigns, the rollout of “Safety Production Month” activities, and on-site working conditions. Based on identified issues, they put forward corrective measures and recommendations, ensuring that follow-up actions are thorough, meticulous, and effectively carried out. In addition, special safety inspections were conducted to address potential hazards posed by adverse weather conditions such as the flood season, heavy rainfall, and thunderstorms, with a focus on strengthening grassroots emergency response capabilities.
During the campaign, our institute actively organized all staff to study laws and regulations on work safety, fundamental work‑safety knowledge, and accident‑prevention measures. In conjunction with themed Party‑day activities, branch Party members were briefed on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instruction to “eliminate potential hazards at their root.” Based on our institute’s actual work‑safety conditions and its specific risk profile, we conducted emergency response drills for electric‑shock incidents, simulations for handling laboratory chemical spills, and other related training on emergency preparedness plans. In addition, the institute arranged for all employees to participate in the LianGongBao National Cybersecurity Knowledge Competition, establishing reward‑and‑penalty mechanisms to ensure full participation and meaningful learning outcomes.
During this “Work Safety Month” campaign, our hospital conscientiously carried out a range of work safety awareness‑raising and education initiatives, as well as activities to foster a robust safety culture. These efforts further strengthened all staff members’ safety consciousness and their ability to prevent and respond to accidents, reinforced safety‑culture development at the grassroots team level, and solidified the foundation of safety management, thereby providing a firm guarantee for the sustained, stable operation of our hospital’s work safety efforts.
