The Second Touring Guidance Group of the CPC History Study and Education Campaign under the China National Bureau of Coal Geology provided guidance to the First Party Branch of the Bureau’s Organs at its special organizational life meeting on Party history study and education.

　　On August 12, the First Party Branch convened a special organizational life meeting on Party history study and education. Shang Honglin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and Director of the Group (Bureau), along with Chen Haiyong, Member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant, attended the meeting as ordinary party members. Together with the branch’s members, they reviewed their achievements, identified existing problems, pinpointed gaps and shortcomings, conducted a thorough analysis of the underlying causes, and formulated concrete corrective measures. Xue Bin, a member of the Second Touring Guidance Team of the China National Bureau of Coal Geology and Deputy General Manager of China Coal Construction Engineering Materials Co., Ltd., was present to provide guidance.

　　The meeting briefed all party members of the branch on the implementation and rectification of issues raised at the first organizational life meeting of 2021, as well as on the preparations for this session. It also reported on the branch’s work over the past six months and on the progress in carrying out Party history study and education.

　　Subsequently, the branch leadership team, the branch committee members, and individual party members each delivered self‑criticism and对照检查 remarks. Focusing closely on their study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on July 1, on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and on the study materials designated by the CPC Central Committee, they conducted a thorough analysis and self‑examination in light of the objectives and requirements of the Party history study and education campaign, as well as the role of party members in setting exemplary standards. They identified gaps and shortcomings, analyzed their underlying causes, and outlined clear directions for effort and concrete corrective measures, engaging in earnest and rigorous criticism and self‑criticism. Upholding an attitude of candor and incisiveness, the branch members did not shy away from or conceal any issues; instead, they conducted a truthful and conscientious review, collectively undergoing a profound test of Party spirit and a cleansing of their thinking.

　　Shang Honglin emphasized the need to uphold Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guiding principle, earnestly strengthen the “Four Consciousnesses,” firmly uphold the “Four Confidences,” and resolutely safeguard the “Two Upholds.” He called for integrating the study of Party history with the study of the history of New China, the history of reform and opening-up, and the history of socialist development, so as to educate and guide Party members and cadres to learn from Party history, gain deeper ideological insights, deliver tangible results, and break new ground. Special attention should be given to highlighting the distinctive features of central state-owned enterprises, emphasizing the integration of learning and application, ensuring benefits for the people, and reinforcing a sense of responsibility and proactive action. Through this approach, we must ensure that studying history clarifies principles, strengthens confidence, cultivates moral integrity, and inspires practical action, continuously enhancing political discernment, political comprehension, and political execution. This will drive the Group’s high-quality development, accelerate the building of a resource-development and ecological‑construction enterprise that leads the industry, celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with outstanding achievements, and tirelessly strive to build a modern socialist country in all respects and realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

　　Comrade Xue Bin expressed full appreciation for this special organizational life meeting, noting that it was thoroughly prepared and distinctly characterized. Each Party member achieved a certain degree of ideological and cognitive improvement, ensuring that learning yielded tangible results and fully demonstrating the branch’s exemplary and leading role. The self‑examination of problems was profound; every member’s remarks were closely tied to their actual work, with a willingness to confront issues head‑on, delve into their underlying causes, and avoid evasion or concealment. The candid and incisive criticisms exchanged among members effectively enhanced understanding, strengthened unity, and tempered Party spirit. The proposed corrective measures were clear and specific, grounded in practical work, with the aim of elevating both political awareness and professional competence. She emphasized the importance of continuing to study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on July 1, while diligently carrying out the rectification and follow‑up of issues identified through the branch’s and individual members’ self‑assessments. This will help integrate Party history study and education more effectively with daily work, yielding concrete results.
