On August 18, Xu Qingyuan, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Power Construction Corporation Overseas Investment Co., Ltd., led a delegation to the Group (Bureau) for business exchanges. The two sides held in-depth discussions on a range of cooperative initiatives, including overseas mining development, mineral resource exploration, and infrastructure construction.

Tian Li stated that our group (bureau) has actively responded to the national Belt and Road Initiative, places great emphasis on developing overseas operations, and consistently regards internationalization as a key pillar of the group’s (bureau’s) strategic development. Building on the strong cooperative relationship between the two sides, he expressed hope that this symposium will further facilitate the implementation of joint projects, enhance mutual communication, and foster shared development.
Xu Qingyuan highly commended the Group’s (Bureau’s) technological strengths, service philosophy, and the achievements it has attained in international operations over recent years. He expressed his hope that, by leveraging the Group’s (Bureau’s) core competencies, comprehensive cooperation could be pursued in areas such as overseas mineral development, non‑ferrous metal resource exploration, and power infrastructure construction, thereby achieving mutual complementarity and win‑win outcomes.
Jiao Sen, Chief Engineer of the Group (Bureau); Deng Xiaolin, Chief Expert; Gu Qiang, Director of the Institute of Geology and Deputy Secretary of its Party Committee; Diao Haizhong, Director of the Shandong Institute and Deputy Secretary of its Party Committee; along with relevant personnel from the Shandong Institute, the Department of Geological Science and Technology, the Planning and Development Department, and the Market Development Division, attended the symposium.
