Recently, several retired colleagues from our hospital’s Taian District base conveyed these questions to the Hospital Party and Mass Work Department (Party Committee Office) through Gao Dong, Director of the Logistics Service Center, hoping that the relevant departments would provide responses and help resolve their concerns.
Upon learning of the needs of our veteran colleagues, our institute attached great importance to the matter and promptly reported and coordinated with the relevant departments, including the supervising leaders and the Human Resources Office. To thoroughly implement the principle of “doing practical things for the people” and effectively address their concerns, we patiently and meticulously clarified the issues that mattered most to them, ensuring that retired colleagues continue to feel the organization’s care and attention. On the morning of September 9, Yang Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Institute’s Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, together with heads of the relevant departments, visited the Taian District base to hold a symposium with a group of retired colleagues. Zhou Xiaomei, Deputy Director of the General Office (in charge of human resources and Party organization), provided detailed responses to the questions raised by the veterans, helping to resolve their lingering doubts, and discussed specific measures to further strengthen and improve labor‑related work for retirees, while making solemn commitments to follow through.
At the symposium, Yang Cheng and Gao Dong respectively reported on the progress of the renovation and upgrading of older residential communities at the Tai’an Base, engaged in lively discussions and exchanges regarding the challenges encountered in these efforts, and solicited opinions and suggestions for strengthening and improving base management going forward. Chen Haiying, Director of the Party and Mass Work Department (Party Committee Office), briefed the attendees on the progress of transferring the organizational affiliations of retired Party members from our institute to the community.
Following the symposium, Yang Cheng and his delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the base’s residential community upgrade and renovation project.
