　　At the invitation of the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Shang Honglin, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board, and Director of the Group (Bureau), led a five-member delegation to Nanning on the 25th and 26th to attend the National Conference on Promoting the Development of Key Industries in Guangxi with the Support of Renowned Enterprises.

　　Jointly Building a Splendid Guangxi of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era—The 2021 National Conference on Promoting the Development of Key Industries in Guangxi, with the Participation of Renowned Enterprises—was an important event hosted this year by the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to foster a favorable business environment. The conference aimed to invite enterprises operating in Guangxi to focus on implementing major national strategies, including the execution of national strategic decisions, the revitalization of emerging industries, and rural revitalization. By leveraging their strengths in capital, technology, management, and talent, these enterprises were encouraged to contribute to the joint effort of building a splendid Guangxi of socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era, in alignment with the implementation of major national initiatives such as the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the New Western Land–Sea Corridor. The conference brought together representatives from well-known national business associations, industry-leading enterprises, all 14 prefecture-level cities, and the autonomous region’s 14 specialized investment promotion task forces.

　　During the conference, Shang Honglin, as a representative of the business community, was received by Lu Xinshe, Secretary of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Regional People’s Congress, and also visited the Nanning Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and related industrial parks.

　　Zhang Jianchun, Regional Operations Director of the Group (Bureau) and Party Secretary of the Guangxi Institute, Tao Qiping, Chairman of the Fund Company, Peng Wulian, Director of the Guangxi Institute, and Sun Yuejun, General Manager of Sinochem Mingda’s Guangxi Marine Geology Branch, attended the meeting and investment promotion activities.
