2022 Recruitment Announcement for Recent College Graduates

In accordance with the overall development strategy of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, the needs of talent development, and our institute’s staffing plan, the recruitment of college graduates for 2022 has officially commenced. Relevant details are hereby announced as follows:

I. Introduction to the Organization

Shandong Geological Exploration Institute of China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau (referred to as China Chemical Shandong Institute) was founded in 1972 and is under the administration of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. It is a modern, centrally‑based professional geological exploration institution stationed in Shandong, integrating geological exploration, urban geology, environmental geology, hydrogeology, engineering geology, salt‑well drilling, engineering investigation and construction, as well as geological technology research and promotion. The institute holds 13 Class-A qualifications covering regional geological surveys, liquid mineral exploration, solid mineral exploration, hydrogeological and environmental geological surveys, geochemical exploration, geological drilling, geotechnical engineering investigation, surveying and mapping, geological hazard risk assessment, geological hazard control project design, geological hazard control project supervision, geological hazard control project construction, and geological hazard control project investigation; two Class-B qualifications in geophysics and geological laboratory testing (including rock and mineral identification, rock and mineral testing, and geotechnical testing); a Grade‑I general contracting qualification for ecological restoration construction; a Grade‑I specialized contracting qualification for waterproofing, anti-corrosion, and thermal insulation projects; and a Grade‑II specialized contracting qualification for foundation engineering. The institute has also passed an AAA‑level corporate credit rating, obtained certification under the three‑standard management system, achieved national metrological accreditation for its laboratories, and been approved by the Shandong Provincial Emergency Management Department as a Level‑II standardized safety production unit, making it a strong and modern professional geological exploration entity.

The headquarters is located in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. It comprises six administrative and service departments and thirteen production and business units.

Sinochem Shandong Institute adheres to a development strategy of “rooted in Shandong, serving the nation, and expanding globally,” with its geological services spanning more than ten provinces and autonomous regions across China and extending into nearly twenty countries overseas. The institute has undertaken over 200 mineral exploration projects, identifying more than 60 prospective mineral sites, including over 30 medium- to large-scale deposits and another 30 small-scale deposits, covering more than 20 different mineral types. It boasts extensive expertise in iron ore, gold, and non‑ferrous polymetallic ores; rock salt, potash, phosphate, limestone, bentonite, fluorite, and mineral water—among other non‑metallic minerals—as well as in unconventional energy sources such as geothermal and shallow‑ground thermal energy. All the mineral deposits discovered have been successfully developed and utilized, yielding significant economic and social benefits.

II. Eligibility Requirements

1. Patriotic, intellectually progressive, law-abiding, of upright character, and diligent and dedicated. Possesses strong professional ethics, a robust sense of responsibility, team spirit, and effective communication and collaboration skills.

2. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in professional theory and strong practical skills. Preference will be given to graduates with outstanding academic records, exemplary student leaders, and those who have received provincial- or municipal-level honors or significant science and technology awards.

3. Excellent academic performance, no record of disciplinary violations, good physical health, hardworking and resilient, and able to handle significant work pressure.

III. Recruitment Process

(1) Registration

1. Registration period: Starting November 1, 2021

2. Application Method: Interested applicants are requested to submit a cover letter and the “Personal Resume for College Graduates” (see Attachment 1). Please note: Fill out Attachment 1 strictly according to its format. Also include the school’s employment recommendation form (as a scanned copy; this may be omitted if the school has not yet issued it), your academic transcript during your studies (scanned copy), scanned copies of all awards and qualification certificates, and any other relevant application materials. Please send these documents as a compressed file to one of our designated email addresses (2633176913@qq.com or 517017082@qq.com). The size of the compressed file must be no larger than 10 MB. Be sure to name the file in the following format: [Applying Organization + Position + University + Major + Degree + Name]. If you hold a postgraduate degree or higher, please also provide scanned copies of your undergraduate and subsequent diplomas, along with your academic transcripts from your time at university.

(II) Qualification Review

In accordance with the job requirements, the organization promptly conducts eligibility reviews and preliminary screenings of applicant graduates, assessing their majors, basic qualifications, and academic performance.

(3) Interview

Based on the results of the qualification review and preliminary resume screening, eligible graduates will be promptly notified by email, text message, or phone that they have advanced to the interview stage. Candidates who do not advance will not receive further notification.

(4) Hiring

Following the interview, the list of candidates to be hired will be determined based on their overall scores. Prospective graduates who are offered a position will be notified by telephone; those who are not selected will also be informed via telephone, email, or other means. Upon receiving notification, shortlisted candidates must report to our organization within the specified timeframe to complete the formal hiring procedures.
