[Quality Month] Our hospital conducted a comprehensive inspection of project quality and safety and extended condolences to frontline staff.

In line with the requirements of the 2021 “Quality Month” campaign, the Institute’s Department of Geological Science and Technology (Safety and Environmental Protection) recently took the lead in organizing a comprehensive quality and safety inspection. Led personally by the Institute’s leadership, the effort was divided into three working groups, which visited six project sites across five prefecture-level cities—Pingyin in Jinan, Juye in Heze, Yutai in Jining, Qihe in Dezhou, and Laiyang in Yantai—to conduct thorough assessments of both project quality and safety.

This inspection, conducted under the “Quality Month” theme of “Prioritizing Quality and Promoting High-Quality Development,” comprehensively assessed on-site safety and quality management as well as epidemic prevention and control measures. It also provided an in-depth review of project progress and the establishment and implementation of project management systems. The inspection team urged all project personnel to address, in a practical and timely manner, any quality or safety hazards identified during the on-site assessment, thereby continuously enhancing both quality and safety awareness and improving overall quality and safety management.

Going forward, our institute will further refine its quality management system, place a strong emphasis on project‑process management and quality oversight and inspection, strengthen quality control, enhance project quality, and cultivate a positive corporate image, leveraging our reputation for excellence to drive market expansion.

During the comprehensive quality and safety inspection, many cities across Shandong Province were hit by a rare blizzard not seen in 70 years. On behalf of the trade union, the institute’s leadership also organized a “Winter Warmth” outreach program to visit grassroots units, extending heartfelt condolences and warm care to employees working on the front lines in the field during the depths of winter. They urged staff to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, with guaranteed quality and quantity, while rigorously implementing measures to guard against cold weather, frost, and other safety hazards.
