On January 19, the Second Congress of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau and the First Congress of the Trade Union Members’ Representatives of China Chemida Holding Group Co., Ltd. were held online via the DingTalk platform. The congress commenced to the stirring sound of the national anthem. A total of 128 people attended, including group (bureau) leaders Shang Honglin, Liu Xingwang, Wang Yong, Chen Haiyong, Tian Li, Jiao Sen, and Diao Haizhong, as well as trade union members’ representatives.
Wang Jun, Chief Economist and Acting Chairman of the Trade Union of the Group (Bureau), delivered a trade union work report titled “Serve Wholeheartedly While Staying True to Our Original Aspiration, Keep the People at Heart and Bear Our Mission in Mind, and Strive Vigorously to Advance the Reform and Development of Sinochem Mingda.” He pointed out that the past five years have been a period during which the Group’s (Bureau’s) trade union has continuously liberated its thinking and forged ahead; a period in which it has remained firmly focused on the central tasks, served the overall situation, and seen its role as a key force further highlighted; a period in which its working mechanisms have become more refined and its service orientation markedly strengthened; and a period in which organizational cohesion has been further enhanced, enabling it to effectively serve as a bridge between the Party and the workforce. Over these five years, trade union organizations at all levels have united and guided cadres and employees to closely align with the China National Bureau of Coal Geology’s overarching “11463” development strategy and the Group’s (Bureau’s) reform and development framework of “One Core, Two Wings, Three Transformations, Four Forces,” conscientiously implementing the decisions and arrangements of higher authorities, taking proactive initiatives, pursuing reform and innovation, and striving to strengthen ideological guidance, safeguard workers’ rights and interests, promote team stability, and invigorate the reform process. In doing so, they have successfully accomplished the goals and tasks set by the first-term trade union committee, making due contributions to the successful completion of all undertakings within the Group (Bureau). He emphasized that, over the next five years, the new-term trade union committee will be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the 17th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, uphold a firm political stance, rally the strength of all who strive forward, further advance democratic management within the Group (Bureau), perform trade union duties to protect workers’ rights, and genuinely enhance the sense of gain, happiness, and security among the workforce. It will also further strengthen the trade union’s own capacity and build up the ranks of workers, fully stimulating their enthusiasm for labor and creative vitality; and continue to play its role as a vital bridge and link, acting proactively, boldly pioneering and innovating, and uniting and leading the broad masses of cadres and employees to break new ground in trade union work as they contribute to the Group’s (Bureau’s) high-quality development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
The congress elected the new-term trade union committee, the financial review committee, and the women workers’ committee of the group (bureau).
As the bridge and link through which the Party organization of the Group (Bureau) connects with the workforce, the newly elected Trade Union Committee will conscientiously fulfill its duties, build a strong “Home for Employees,” and serve as a caring “family member.” It will unite and lead all employees to strive for progress, innovate, and work tirelessly, making new and even greater contributions to the Group’s (Bureau’s) high-quality development, and welcoming the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with outstanding achievements!
