As the Spring Festival approaches, in order to further strengthen awareness of integrity and self-discipline and guide everyone in observing a healthy, upright, and clean New Year, on January 20, the Second Party Branch organized its members and prospective Party members to watch the recently popular CCTV‑1 documentary series “Zero Tolerance,” jointly produced by the Publicity Department of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission and China Media Group’s CCTV. This marked the branch’s first themed Party Day activity of the new year, conducted through the shared experience of an enlightening “feast” of anti-corruption education.

This documentary series comprises five segments—“Answering the Call of 1.4 Billion,” “Hunting Tigers and Swatting Flies,” “Learning from Past Mistakes to Prevent Future Ones,” “Tackling Problems at Their Root,” and “Always on the Road”—which vividly illustrate how the Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, has grasped and applied the historical experience of the Party’s century-long struggle, upheld self-revolution, and steadfastly pursued the strategic principle of exercising full‑scale and rigorous Party self‑governance. It underscores the Party’s relentless efforts to advance Party conduct and integrity building and the fight against corruption, adopting a systematic approach that addresses both symptoms and root causes, and continuously advancing the strategic goal of ensuring that no one dares to be corrupt, no one can be corrupt, and no one wants to be corrupt. In doing so, it fully demonstrates the political leadership and political safeguards provided by the Party’s comprehensive and rigorous self‑governance.
In accordance with epidemic prevention and control requirements, this event was conducted primarily in the form of Party subgroups. Each subgroup organized viewing sessions and discussions, promptly submitting photos documenting their participation. Party members within the branch also diligently recorded their reflections in the “Party Member Study Activity Logbook” distributed by the hospital. Participants unanimously expressed that, through this cautionary education activity, they have gained a profound understanding of how, since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has demonstrated unwavering political resolve, upholding the principles of zero tolerance, full coverage, and no forbidden zones in combating corruption, thereby fully underscoring the strength and determination of comprehensively strengthening Party self‑discipline. As grassroots Communist Party members, we must lead by example, never condone even the smallest wrongdoing, proactively nip problems in the bud, firmly uphold our bottom lines, and consistently maintain an upright and clean work style, thus fostering a sound and honest political environment and providing robust support for the development of our hospital.
