The “Science and Technology Innovation China” Agricultural Minerals and Geology Professional Science and Technology Service Team has been established within the Group (Bureau).

Recently, by fully integrating resources, technologies, and talent in the field of agricultural mineral geology, the Group (Bureau), in collaboration with relevant industry‑university‑research institutions, has successfully established the “Science and Innovation China” Agricultural Mineral Geology Professional Science and Technology Service Team under the China Association for Science and Technology.

The “Innovation China” Science and Technology Service Group is an interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, and cross-regional science and technology service organization established by the China Association for Science and Technology to address local industrial innovation needs. The “Innovation China” Agricultural Mineral Geology Professional Science and Technology Service Group is led by the Geological Society of China and jointly formed by the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, the China Chemical Mining Association, the Institute of Mineral Resources of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, and other institutions. Focusing on supporting the high-quality, low-carbon development of key agricultural mining enterprises, it conducts research in areas such as the exploration and development of agricultural mineral resources, the efficient and comprehensive utilization of resources, mine ecological restoration, and smart mine construction. This work aims to inject new momentum into the high-quality regional development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, promote technological cooperation between eastern and western regions, and provide strong support for safeguarding national energy and strategic mineral security, as well as food security.

The successful establishment of the Science and Technology Service Team represents another key initiative by the Group (Bureau) to bring together innovation actors from government, industry, academia, research institutions, finance, and end-users; to streamline channels for accessing scientific and technological resources; and to accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. Moving forward, the Group (Bureau) will fully leverage the role of the Science and Technology Service Team, utilizing the “Innovation China” platform to precisely identify the development needs of the agricultural mineral resources sector. It will provide a range of transformation‑and‑application services, including technical consulting, R&D support, technology transfer and commercialization, promotion and application of research outcomes, standard development and dissemination, as well as project financing and investment cooperation. These efforts will help advance the building of collaborative innovation networks, cultivate scientific and technological talent, and bolster the development of the Group’s (Bureau’s) agricultural mineral resources industry.
