On the afternoon of March 22, the First Party Branch organized a themed Party Day activity on confidentiality awareness and education, during which participants watched the educational documentary series “Exploring the ‘Secret’ Laboratory.” To support the Institute’s General Office in advancing and implementing confidentiality‑related initiatives, the branch also extended participation in the learning session to all members of the administrative sub‑branch. In total, more than 30 people—including Party members, active candidates, and members of the administrative sub‑branch—attended the special study session.
At the meeting, attendees watched a four‑part public‑education series on confidentiality, titled “Office Automation Equipment Littered with Risks,” “Espionage Behind Computer Networks,” “Acoustic, Optical, and Electromagnetic Protection in Classified Facilities,” and “Beware: Your Smartphone May Become a ‘Personal Spy.’” Each episode focuses on critical areas such as the security of office equipment, cybersecurity, acoustic, optical, and electromagnetic safeguards in classified settings, and mobile‑device security. By setting up demonstration platforms, filming real‑world scenarios of espionage and information leakage, and employing 3D animation to explain underlying technical principles, the series highlights the risks posed by emerging technologies in the new era and outlines effective preventive measures.
Computer networks and office automation equipment—indispensable for work—and mobile phones, which are essential to daily life—these devices we use every day can very well turn into imminent risks of information leakage. The typical cases of information leakage depicted in the educational video served as a wake-up call for all attendees: it is imperative to heighten awareness of confidentiality, thoroughly understand information security and confidentiality risks, and master basic protective measures. Never allow ignorance of these risks to lead to breaches that result in irreversible consequences.

By studying and viewing this series of educational videos, our institute’s staff have gained a thorough understanding of the risks and vulnerabilities associated with new technologies and applications that could lead to information theft or leakage, thereby effectively strengthening their awareness and capabilities in technical confidentiality safeguards. At the same time, these materials have underscored that, in the current context, successful confidentiality work requires a balanced emphasis on both technological protection and administrative oversight. Only by establishing an integrated defense system that combines human, physical, and technical measures can we ensure that the confidentiality “safety net” remains secure, robust, and impenetrable.
Going forward, our institute will conscientiously implement the state’s laws and regulations on confidentiality, as well as the spirit of relevant higher-level documents, and rigorously enforce all applicable confidentiality management rules and procedures. By continuously refining our internal confidentiality policies and procedures, strengthening awareness of confidentiality, and improving overall confidentiality management, we will steadfastly sign annual “Confidentiality Responsibility Agreements” with all departments, ensuring that responsibilities for confidentiality are fully assumed and effectively preventing the occurrence of any incidents involving the unauthorized disclosure or loss of classified information.
