Recently, Jinan has been experiencing sustained high temperatures reaching 40°C, with scorching heat gripping the city. On June 24, Sun Xinyong, a member of the institute’s Party Committee and its vice president, along with Jia Ruifeng, chairman of the institute’s trade union, visited the construction site for the restoration and remediation of the Panzhuang abandoned mine in Zhangqing District and the treatment of a collapse-related geological hazard in Xiqiaokou Village, Yushan Subdistrict, Pingyin County, to carry out a “Summer Coolness Delivery” outreach activity. They brought the institute’s leadership’s care and refreshing relief to employees working tirelessly on the front lines under the sweltering heat.

Sun Xinyong and Jia Ruifeng, on behalf of Shandong Institute, extended warm condolences to frontline workers, presenting them with monetary donations and essential supplies for heat‑stroke prevention and cooling. They repeatedly emphasized the importance of prioritizing both safe production and effective epidemic‑prevention measures as well as heat‑mitigation efforts. At the same time, they urged the project team to firmly uphold safety standards, ensuring the health and safety of all frontline employees during the peak‑heat season.
This “Summer Coolness Delivery” initiative brought both material and moral relief to project staff working tirelessly under the scorching sun, greatly boosting their motivation. Participants unanimously pledged to rigorously implement the institute’s plans and arrangements, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, to the required quality and quantity, thereby making new and even greater contributions to the development of Sinochem Shandong Institute.
