On the morning of July 25, our institute, in coordination with the Group (Bureau), held a plaque-hanging ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, jointly celebrating this momentous occasion. The event was chaired by Sun Xinyong, a member of the Party Committee and vice president, and was attended by more than 50 institute employees. Wang Qingfeng, Party Secretary and President, along with Yang Cheng, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and other institute leaders, were present at the ceremony and unveiled the “70th Anniversary Theme Logo” of the Bureau.
At the ceremony, Wang Qingfeng, on behalf of the Shandong Institute, extended warm congratulations on the 70th anniversary of the Bureau’s founding. He stated that, over the past seven decades, the China National Chemical Corporation has consistently shouldered the responsibility of safeguarding national strategic mineral and ecological‑environmental security, earning numerous accolades and making significant contributions to China’s mineral resource security and its economic and social development. The unveiling ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Group (Bureau), as it takes another step forward in its journey of corporatization and group‑based reform.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Bureau, Shandong Institute will also celebrate its own 50th anniversary. He emphasized that all employees of Shandong Institute should further deepen their understanding and study of the China National Chemical Corporation’s corporate culture, cultivate a distinctive “Shandong Institute” cultural identity, and forge strong cohesion, thereby fostering a harmonious and stable working environment and a clean, upright political ecosystem. Taking this event as an opportunity, all staff are urged to transform the glorious tradition of loyalty to the Bureau and the Institute into powerful motivation and enthusiasm for achieving the year’s goals and tasks. They should continue to strengthen market development, enhance quality and efficiency, advance enterprise reform, reinforce risk management and control, and uphold Party building and workplace safety, contributing the wisdom and strength of Shandong Institute to the celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the Bureau and the 50th anniversary of the Institute, and welcoming the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with outstanding achievements.
