This year marks the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army. Having laid down your military uniforms, you continue to perform your duties with unwavering dedication at your respective posts, consistently achieving outstanding results.
Since 1949, the People’s Liberation Army has remained true to its original aspiration, weathering 95 years of trials and tribulations. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, it has braved the smoke of battle, forged ahead through countless obstacles, and made tremendous sacrifices. Guided by ideals that soar higher than the heavens, a revolutionary faith that runs deep, a political consciousness united as one, and an exemplary ethos of military devotion to the people, it has achieved one glorious victory after another, earning unparalleled merits that will be etched in history for the cause of national independence and the people’s liberation, as well as for the country’s prosperity and the people’s happiness.
In the past, your pure and unwavering love was devoted to the motherland; clad in military uniform, you took root in the barracks, shouldering heavy responsibilities to ensure peace and tranquility for the people, and standing ready at all times for the nation’s security and stability. Today, though retired from service, you remain as steadfast as ever; though transitioning to civilian life, your resolve endures. From “military green” to “geological blue,” you continue to uphold the true spirit of soldiers—dedicated, selfless, and striving for excellence—shining brightly and making outstanding contributions in every field of work, lending your wisdom and strength to the cause. On behalf of all cadres and employees of the Group (Bureau), we extend our heartfelt gratitude and highest respect to you.
Sailing together in the same boat, we set sail and ride the winds to journey ten thousand miles. The year 2022 marks the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Standing at a new starting point and embarking on a new journey, we must remain firmly confident, seize every moment, cherish our youthful years, and strive to create a fresh outlook and deliver new achievements.
