Shang Honglin Visits Guizhou Phosphate Group for Research and Exchange


On August 17, Shang Honglin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and Director-General of the Group (Bureau), led a delegation to Guizhou Phosphate Chemical (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guizhou Phosphate Group”) for a fact-finding and exchange visit. He held a symposium with Yang Sanké, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Guizhou Phosphate Group, along with other senior leaders. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on matters related to the development and utilization of phosphate mineral resources, the phosphate chemical industry, and the new energy sector.

Yang Sanke extended a warm welcome to Shang Honglin and his delegation, briefly outlining the basic profile of Guizhou Phosphate Group and providing a detailed overview of its industrial layout and development over recent years. Yang Sanke noted that Guizhou Phosphate Group is a large state-owned enterprise integrating phosphate‑mining resource development, compound phosphate fertilizers, fine phosphorus chemicals, sulfur‑coal chemicals, and fluorine‑iodine chemicals. He emphasized that the two parties share significant complementary strengths in their respective business areas, expressing hope that they will uphold the principle of win‑win cooperation, leverage their respective advantages, deepen their ties through long-term collaboration, and pursue high‑quality, innovative development in the field of phosphate resources.

Shang Honglin expressed his appreciation for the development achievements of Guizhou Phosphate Group, noting that numerous high‑quality development practices and management philosophies are worthy of emulation and study. He briefly outlined the Group’s 70‑year history, its reform and transformation process, and its industrial development trajectory. He particularly highlighted the fruitful outcomes of the long‑standing collaboration between Sinochem Guizhou Institute and Guizhou Phosphate Group, and provided a detailed overview of the Group’s industrial layout—“one foundation, three pillars, two integrations.” He expressed the hope that, taking this exchange as an opportunity, both sides will leverage their respective strengths, work in close synergy, and further strengthen cooperation in such areas as geological exploration, mineral resource development, ecological and environmental protection, and underground engineering. By doing so, they can jointly fulfill the social and economic responsibilities of central and state‑owned enterprises, promote high‑quality development on both fronts, and contribute to the nation’s and society’s progress.

During the visit, accompanied by Li Kai, Safety Director of Guizhou Phosphate Group and General Manager of Kailin Co., Ltd., Shang Honglin and his delegation traveled to the Yangshui Mining Area in Kaiyang County. They toured the Malapeng Mine, the Fertilizer Company, and the Fluorosilicon New Materials Company, gaining an in-depth understanding of phosphate rock mining, compound fertilizer production, and the comprehensive utilization of co‑existing resources.

Zhang Jianchun, Regional Operations Director of the Group (Bureau), along with Wang Huai-shan, Chairman of Sinochem Mingda Southwest Geological Co., Ltd.; Jiang Yi, General Manager; Liu Chuanbao, Member of the Party Working Committee; He Bin, Chairman of Mingda Marine Engineering Co., Ltd.; Wang Liang, Deputy General Manager; and Li Shuang, Deputy Director of the Group (Bureau) General Office, accompanied the inspection.
