On August 26, Jia Ruifeng, Chairman of the Institute’s Trade Union, along with a delegation, conducted an on-site inspection at the road‑survey construction site in Jinan Start-up Zone, which is being carried out by Shandong Sinochem Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Institute. They also extended Mid-Autumn Festival greetings and presented慰问 items to the frontline workers.

Jia Ruifeng paid a visit to veteran drilling workers who have dedicated more than thirty years to frontline operations, as well as to young technical personnel, expressing his gratitude for their hard work. On behalf of the organization, he extended warm condolences and heartfelt Mid-Autumn Festival greetings, while urging everyone to prioritize workplace safety, strike a proper balance between work and rest, avoid overexertion, and ensure that drilling tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The employees expressed their appreciation for the institute’s trade union—referred to as their “family”—for its thoughtful outreach to frontline staff. In recent years, with the support of the institute’s Party and administrative leadership, the union has progressively addressed various employee benefits, including reimbursement of childcare fees for children attending kindergarten, winter work uniforms, heating allowances, and high-temperature subsidies, delivering tangible advantages and fostering a sense of care and warmth from the organization. Moving forward, they pledged to unite in spirit and effort, perform their duties even better, and contribute to the high-quality development of the Shandong Institute.
Jia Ruifeng stated that the high-quality development of Shandong Institute would be impossible without the dedication and hard work of every employee. As the “family,” the institute’s trade union will continue to care for all staff, attentively listen to their concerns, and strive to safeguard their safety and health rights, working together to make the greatest possible contribution to the institute’s overall progress. Jia Ruifeng emphasized that each employee must firmly cultivate a sense of ownership, stay committed to their respective roles, and ensure that all tasks are completed safely, with high quality, and efficiently, thereby making even greater contributions to the development and advancement of Shandong Institute.
Wu Weiwei, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Sinochem Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd., presented an overview of the company’s recent production and operational performance. Following the briefing, leaders of the institute’s trade union extended their condolences to colleagues who have been working tirelessly on the Shenwu pile‑testing, Pingyin pile‑testing, and Laizhou photovoltaic survey projects. They urged the Geological Exploration and Surveying Branch to effectively serve as a vital link between management and staff, to represent the institute’s trade union in providing care and support to frontline workers, and to ensure that the trade union truly becomes a trusted ally at employees’ side.
