To facilitate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, enhance the Group’s (Bureau’s) innovation capacity and its capabilities in intellectual property management and operations, and promote independent innovation while cultivating specialized science-and‑technology service professionals, the Group (Bureau) held a training session on key considerations and case studies related to the commercialization of intellectual property on September 22.

This training session featured Zhang Kai, Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Department of the Secretariat of the Enterprise Science and Technology Work Committee of the China Technology Market Association and a seasoned technology transfer consultant, as the instructor. Zhang Kai delivered the training by covering five key areas: fundamental concepts related to the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, reforms of the science and technology system, institutional frameworks for research institutions, relevant support policies, and methods for transferring research outcomes.

Following the training, participants engaged in online discussions with the instructors, exchanging views and exploring solutions to challenges encountered in their work. Attendees unanimously reported gaining substantial insights. This training deepened the understanding of science and technology management personnel regarding policies on the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, helped technical staff clarify key aspects of technology transfer and成果转化, provided strategic guidance for the Group (Bureau)’s next steps in intellectual property‑related成果转化, and laid a solid foundation for establishing a comprehensive成果转化 system across the Group (Bureau).

More than 60 personnel, including science and technology management staff and relevant technical experts from the Group (Bureau) headquarters and its directly affiliated units, attended this training session.
