About “Soil Contamination Assessment of the Liming College Site in Taian High-tech Zone”
Project Public Notice
On behalf of the High-tech Zone Branch of the Tai’an Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning, our unit (Shandong Geological Exploration Institute of China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau) is now conducting an investigation into the soil contamination status of the Liming College site in the Tai’an High-tech Zone.
1 Project Overview and Basic Information
Investigation plot 35639 m² , The original land use of the parcel included dryland, orchard, ponds, rural roads, and rural residential land. According to the Taian Municipal Planning Bureau 《 About Notice of Planning Conditions for the Plot Located East of the Nanjing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway along Beitianmen Avenue, Jl Unit (Thai Regulation Character [ No. 44 of 2014 ), the area is designated for educational and research purposes, classified as land for public administration and public services, and falls under Category II land use. 。
2. Survey Results
Based on the preliminary site inspections and interviews, Investigation There are no industrial enterprises within the site. , Historically, no hazardous waste or other pollutants have been dumped on the site. The source of the soil and construction waste piled on the site is clearly identified. There are no suspected sources of contamination within the site. Based on the analysis of the rapid soil screening data, total chromium, arsenic, lead, copper, and nickel were detected at varying levels at the rapid‑testing sites, with results showing no significant differences when compared to the control sites. For volatile organic compounds, the rapid‑screening concentrations were relatively similar, and no notable discrepancies were observed compared with the control sites. At this stage, the site… Around the block 10 Within 00m None Key industry enterprises and heavily polluting enterprises shall not contain easily migratory pollutants. , The surrounding environment has a relatively minor impact on the pollution of this site. This site and the surrounding areas, All; both; each No environmental emergencies or environmental pollution incidents have occurred.
3. Conclusions and Recommendations
The land parcels within the scope of this investigation are not classified as contaminated sites. The site does not need to be included in the management of contaminated sites; the risk to human health is negligible. , there is no need to proceed with the next phase of a detailed investigation into the contamination status. , The soil contamination assessment may be concluded, and the land within the scope of this investigation will be used for… Educational and Research Land Use of the Planning It is feasible.
The findings of this investigation are based on the site’s existing conditions and current assessment criteria. Should the land use designation or assessment standards change in the future, the existing conclusions should be reassessed, and, if necessary, a new soil contamination survey and evaluation shall be conducted.
During this soil contamination assessment, every effort was made to objectively and accurately characterize the distribution of site‑specific contaminants; however, some uncertainty remains. The managing authority should implement stringent site management practices to prevent the introduction of external pollutants that could contaminate the site’s soil.
