The hospital leadership traveled to Zhejiang for research and exchange, and went directly to the project site to deliver a short Party lecture.

Recently, Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the institute, led a delegation to Zhejiang for research and exchange. They held symposiums with the leadership teams of Sinochem Zhejiang Institute and Mingda Ningbo Company, visited field project sites to conduct on-site inspections, and delivered a special micro‑party lecture.
During their visit to the Zhejiang Institute, Liu Lifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Institute, highlighted the organization’s industrial portfolio and market‑expansion efforts, particularly the progress made in expanding geotechnical investigation services and in building its laboratory infrastructure. Wang Qingfeng noted that, in recent years, the Zhejiang Institute has pursued aggressive market development and achieved outstanding business results; he especially commended the institute’s work in engineering surveying and the establishment of the East China Analytical Testing Research Center, which he deemed worthy of emulation. Both sides expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation and leverage complementary resources in areas such as foundation construction, testing and inspection, and project management, with the aim of achieving mutually beneficial growth. At Mingda Ningbo Company, the Institute’s leadership engaged in discussions with Liu Mugen, Secretary of the company’s Party Branch and General Manager, focusing on staying aligned with core responsibilities, driving corporate transformation and upgrading, and expanding operations in Zhejiang. Members of the leadership teams from both organizations based in Zhejiang, along with heads of relevant departments, attended the symposium.

During the field investigation, the institute’s leadership went directly to the front lines of production, visiting the outdoor construction site of the “Jintang Town Geological Hazard Risk Survey Project” undertaken by our institute. They also delivered a brief Party lesson on-site, emphasizing the importance of putting the people and lives first and steadily advancing the geological hazard risk survey initiative. The leadership urged all project team members to adhere to the principle of “grounded in geology and empowered by science and technology,” to achieve greater results in ecological geology, to keep the nation’s overarching interests at heart, to firmly bear in mind their institutional mission and responsibilities, and to contribute to the high-quality development of the Shandong Institute.

Through the study of short Party‑member lectures, the project team members have further enhanced their ideological awareness and pledged to carry forward the “Three Glories” and “Four Special Qualities” spirit of geological professionals. They will fully leverage the exemplary and pioneering role of Party members, seizing this project as an opportunity to overcome the challenges posed by harsh construction conditions, tight deadlines, and heavy workloads. Drawing on our institute’s expertise in resource assurance and in the identification and mitigation of geological hazards, they will employ remote sensing, geophysical exploration, drilling, and other methods to comprehensively and meticulously map potential geological hazard sites in Jintang Town, assess the disaster‑resilience of key areas, objectively evaluate the spatial distribution of hazard hotspots, conduct thorough risk surveys and assessments, and propose effective prevention and control measures. By delivering outstanding results in this geological hazard risk survey, they aim to safeguard the lives and property of the people, ensure that geological work better serves society, and provide robust support for the sustainable economic and social development of the local community.
Sun Xinyong, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the institute; Li Ning, Director of the Resources and Environment (Geological Disaster) Branch (Business Unit); Zhou Kai, Vice President and Chief Engineer; Shi Yiyuan, General Manager of Taian Zhonghua Mingda Engineering Investigation Co., Ltd.; and Yin Tiantao, Director of Laboratory No. 19 for Chemical Geology and Mining, among others, accompanied and participated in the aforementioned activities.
