The hospital’s trade union and Youth League committee organized “Unite Hearts and Pool Strength to Follow the Party, Strive Bravely in the New Era” – Employee Spiritual and Moral Development Initiative

On June 7, the hospital’s trade union and Youth League organized a team-building event for more than 60 members and young employees, themed “Unite Hearts and Gather Strength to Follow the Party, Strive Bravely in the New Era.” Centered on “teamwork plus personal development,” the activity aimed to forge employees’ resilience, strengthen team cohesion, and enhance overall unity and collective drive.

Life is not just the mundane routine before our eyes; it also holds poetry and the fields of distant horizons. Work isn’t confined to the narrow path between the office and home—it’s enriched by vibrant team-building activities as well. Early on the 7th, members and young participants arrived at their workplaces well ahead of time to wait. They then boarded buses in Jinan and Tai’an, traveling together to the team-building venue—the Shanqing World Activity Center in Liubu Town, Licheng District. As they rode, basking in the gentle breeze and taking in the scenic views, everyone chatted animatedly, thoroughly enjoying the journey.

Shanqing World Activity Center As an educational platform under the Communist Youth League and a Party and National History institution officially designated by Shandong Province, “Dual History Education” Base, With the core mission of helping organizations build high‑performing teams, we leverage experiential training as our delivery platform and team‑based activities as our guiding framework, empowering both companies and individuals to unleash vitality, creativity, resilience, and cohesion across areas such as capability development, change management, organizational culture building, and performance enhancement.

The event began with an ice-breaking warm-up session, which helped dispel mutual mistrust, skepticism, and distance, drawing everyone’s attention to the present moment. Following this, participants were randomly assigned to… Four teams, in no time at all, with their members working in perfect harmony, unveiled a series of spirited team names, anthems, and slogans. Accompanied by four‑colored flags—red, yellow, blue, and green—they arranged themselves into various formations before the assembled group. The team‑building activities officially began, and under the coach’s guidance, participants took part in a range of engaging exercises, including “Red Mark,” “Climb to the Summit,” “Supersonic,” “One Circle to the End,” “Unfalling Forest,” “Rhythmic Beats,” “Thunderous Drums,” and “Extreme Frisbee.”

“Red Mark,” also known as “Masterful Brushwork,” involves all team members holding the ends of a rope and, without touching the brush, completing designated writing tasks as instructed by the coach. This activity aims to cultivate effective division of labor, a strong sense of responsibility, a holistic perspective, self‑management skills, and the ability to make coordinated adjustments in pursuit of team goals.

Climbing to the summit is rock climbing, and rock climbing is much like life: from start to finish, you keep moving upward. You can’t guarantee that every stage will go smoothly; occasional pauses are meant to build momentum and propel you forward, helping to strengthen your physical endurance, sharpen your focus, and boost your willpower and self-confidence.

Held in the afternoon “Supersonic,” “One Lap to the Finish,” “Forest of No Falls,” “Thrilling Rhythms,” “Thunderous Drums,” and “Extreme Frisbee”—these collaborative projects presented a comprehensive set of challenges while also offering ample room for growth, putting each team member’s chemistry, teamwork, and execution efficiency to the test. With everyone united in purpose and working in harmony, they brainstormed solutions and shared ideas, creating an electrifying atmosphere that kept spirits high and energy buzzing—bringing the team‑building event to a thrilling climax!

Time flew by, and the team-building event soon reached its final segment, during which the four team leaders each shared their takeaways and summarized their experiences on behalf of their respective teams. They unanimously agreed that this activity combined learning with fun, featured a flexible format and rich content, helped relieve work-related stress, fostered a positive, upbeat, and constructive mindset, and strengthened unity and camaraderie among employees. They pledged to uphold the spirit of teamwork, perseverance, and collaboration in their future work, remain steadfast in their convictions, move forward hand in hand, and strive to enhance the organization’s overall cohesion and vitality, thereby contributing to the unit’s high‑quality development through proactive and effective mass‑organization efforts.
