The hospital’s trade union has actively organized study sessions on the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the 13th National Congress of the All-China Women’s Federation.

Recently, trade union organizations at all levels within our institute have organized study sessions on the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the 13th National Congress of the All-China Women’s Federation.

On November 2, the hospital’s trade union organized a集中学习 session for members of the Trade Union Committee, the Women Workers’ Committee, and the Financial Review Committee, adopting a hybrid “in-person plus online” format. Trade Union Chairman Jia Ruifeng led participants in a verbatim study of Cai Qi’s address at the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, titled “Striving to Write a Magnificent Chapter of China’s Working Class in the Cause of National Rejuvenation and Building a Strong Country”; General Secretary Xi Jinping’s collective talks with the newly elected leadership of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the All-China Women’s Federation; the All-China Federation of Trade Unions’ Notice on Thoroughly Studying, Publicizing, and Implementing the Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Speeches and Striving to Accomplish the Goals and Tasks Set at the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions; as well as the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, which was revised and adopted at the Congress.

On November 3, the Party Committee of the institute implemented the “First Agenda Item” system and convened a集中学习 session to study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s collective talks with the newly elected leadership teams of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the All-China Women’s Federation. The committee urged the institute’s new trade union leadership to strengthen its own development, continuously enhance the trade union’s capacity for guidance, organization, and service, and strive to become a trade union that earns the trust of the Party and the satisfaction of its members. It also emphasized the need to reinforce ideological and political guidance for women, ensuring that thoughts and understanding are aligned with the CPC Central Committee’s important directives on trade union work and women’s work, thereby rallying the aspirations and contributions of women in advancing national strength and national rejuvenation.

In addition, over the past few days, the union’s various branches have fostered a strong atmosphere and sparked a wave of learning by organizing screenings of videos related to the congress, studying the congress’s work report, holding thematic seminars on how to better serve workers and women, and encouraging members to engage in self‑study.

Participants emphasized the need to integrate the guiding principles of the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the 13th National Congress of the All-China Women’s Federation with those of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, strengthen ideological and political guidance for union members and employees, pay close attention to the work of female workers, and rally broad-based support for national rejuvenation and the building of a strong country. They also pledged to unite and mobilize all worker-members to strive tirelessly for a brighter future for Sinochem Shandong Institute.
