The First Party Branch held a study session on the “First Agenda Item” and a themed Party Day activity.


On March 22, the First Party Branch convened a meeting, using the first agenda item to study the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China and to convey and study the spirit of the Two Sessions of the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in 2024. The meeting aimed to guide party members and cadres to uphold moral integrity, observe discipline, and abide by the law, deepen their theoretical learning, and further enhance their political theory literacy.

Party members Lin Lin, Fu Wei, and Dai Huimei respectively led the group in studying the spirit of the 2024 National Two Sessions, including the Regulations on Disciplinary Measures of the Communist Party of China, Premier Li Qiang’s Government Work Report delivered at the Second Session of the 14th National People’s Congress, and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks during his participation in the deliberations of the Jiangsu delegation. They also organized party members to watch a video report from the “Ministerial Channel” of the National Two Sessions, featuring State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council Director Zhang Yuzhuo addressing public concerns on issues such as “high-quality development” and “accelerating the formation of new‑type productive forces.”

 

After the study session, the participating Party members Combine The learning content revolves around Departmental work, In-depth discussions were held on various fronts, including high-level coordination between functional and operational departments, the qualitative enhancement of management and service standards, the building of the Shandong Institute’s brand, and the promotion of reasonable quantitative growth, sparking profound reflection among Party members on developing “new‑type productive forces.” Wang Qingfeng, a member of the Party branch, Secretary of the Party Committee, and President, emphasized that Party members should strengthen their study and implementation of the spirit of the Two Sessions, deepen their understanding of the Government Work Report and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches, and, in the three key areas of technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and industrial ecosystem—namely, “source, upgrade, and ecosystem”—as well as within the framework of the new round of initiatives to achieve breakthroughs in mineral exploration, uphold the spirit of scientists: dare to take the most challenging paths, scale the highest peaks, and breach the toughest fortresses; boldly challenge themselves and strive to tackle difficult problems with new approaches and innovative methods.

Through study, the Party members and cadres of the branch have deepened their understanding of Party discipline, becoming more mindful of reverence, vigilant against potential pitfalls, and steadfast in upholding fundamental principles. All expressed that they will continuously enhance their political awareness and professional competence, earnestly translate the spirit of the Two Sessions into concrete actions, further align their thinking and strengthen their sense of mission and responsibility, ensuring that the spirit of the Two Sessions takes root and flourishes within our institute.
