On June 4, Yan Jinming, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Natural Resources, led a delegation to the Shandong Geological Exploration Institute for an inspection and exchange.

Party Secretary and President Wang Qingfeng reported on the institute’s basic situation, staff professional capabilities, technical equipment, provincial-level geological exploration projects undertaken in recent years, internal management, quality management, production safety, scientific and technological innovation, talent cultivation, and the progress and achievements in these areas. Yan Jinming conducted guidance and investigation regarding technical equipment, overseas projects, results of provincial geological exploration projects, core technologies, professional strengths, and science and innovation platforms.

Yan Jinming expressed his hope that the Shandong Geological Exploration Institute will properly implement provincially financed projects, elevate the excavation, utilization and follow-up research of existing exploration results to a new level, fully leverage its advantages in overseas markets, and strive for outstanding results in the new round of strategic actions for mineral prospecting breakthroughs.

The inspection was attended by Hu Zhiyong, Director of the Geological Exploration Management Division of the Provincial Department of Natural Resources; Liang Hui, First-level Principal Staff Member of the Geological Exploration Management Division; Chen Lei, Director of the Office of the Mineral Exploration Technology Center; members of the institute’s leadership team; and relevant officials from the Geological Science and Technology Department.
