To further advance the Bureau (Group)’s “Year of Standardizing, Legalizing, and Regularizing Discipline Inspection and Supervision Work” initiative in a substantive and effective manner, strengthen the building of the discipline inspection cadre team, and forge a loyal, clean, and responsible ironclad force in discipline inspection, the Bureau’s Commission for Discipline Inspection recently held the 2025 “Discipline Inspection Secretary Takes the Podium” event, along with a collective talk session for the discipline inspection secretaries of directly affiliated units. Zheng Heyue, Member of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, attended the event and delivered a speech. During a collective discussion, Zheng Heyue emphasized that disciplinary inspection bodies at all levels within the bureau (group) must deeply grasp the grave and complex circumstances of the current anti-corruption campaign, advance the “three‑pronged” development with a reform‑oriented spirit and stringent standards, and push forward the in-depth implementation of comprehensive and rigorous Party governance. First, We will resolutely implement the Party’s guidelines, policies, and the major decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee; thoroughly study and apply Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; closely follow the work orientations of the General Administration Party Committee and the General Administration Commission for Discipline Inspection; and, in light of our unit’s specific circumstances, carry out our work in a creative and innovative manner. Second is To serve effectively as advisors and assistants, one must keep the bigger picture in mind, prioritize the overall interests, maintain a proper sense of one’s role, fulfill duties conscientiously, and strike an appropriate balance between discharging responsibilities and prioritizing the primary task of service. Third is We must not shy away from difficulties, courageously shoulder our responsibilities, uphold principles and truth, dare to play the “bad cop,” and be bold in fighting for what is right. Fourth is Pay attention to methods and approaches, strengthen communication with the Party and government leadership team, and seek their support. Fifth is Strengthen oversight and inspection, foster a favorable environment, hone professional skills, and enhance work capabilities.

Zheng Heyue urged that the secretaries of discipline inspection commissions at all levels should assume the role of “chief strategist,” offering candid advice and preventing deviations; the role of “referee,” upholding fairness and impartiality; the role of “commander,” setting clear benchmarks and serving as role models; and the role of “head nurse,” constantly providing constructive feedback and boldly addressing shortcomings. Discipline inspection cadres at every level must strengthen their ideological cultivation to fortify their ideals and convictions; enhance their Party spirit to demonstrate absolute loyalty to the Party; undergo rigorous practical training to embody a sense of responsibility and commitment; intensify their learning to improve their capacity to perform their duties; and lead by example to build an unshakable barrier against corruption, thereby maintaining the integrity of the discipline inspection corps. They should remain dedicated to their duties, courageously shoulder responsibilities, and strive to elevate discipline inspection work to a new height, providing robust disciplinary safeguards for the high-quality development of the bureau (group).

This event was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and video participation. More than 50 participants, including discipline inspection officials from the Sinochem Bureau system and resident comprehensive supervisors assigned to projects, attended.
