[Work Safety] Our hospital conducted a comprehensive safety inspection ahead of the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays.

As the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival approach, in order to thoroughly implement the General Administration’s “Thunderous Safety Production Campaign” for 2025, a special pre-holiday safety inspection was recently conducted—led by the institute’s leadership—covering key areas such as field construction sites, office spaces, the two‑zone base, and laboratories. On this occasion, holiday greetings and words of appreciation were extended to frontline staff who remain on duty.

On September 27, Comrade Guo Yiming led a team to conduct a safety inspection at the Dazhang Iron Ore Exploration Project in Qihe County, Shandong Province, thoroughly reviewed the implementation of the project’s occupational safety and production measures, and extended holiday greetings to the frontline construction workers.

On September 29, Comrade Qiu Guanghui led a team to conduct a safety inspection of the Jinan District base’s office area, dormitory area, and laboratories. The inspection focused on fire safety and the safe operation of electrical equipment in the office area, the logistics base, and the laboratories, and also included a special review of the management of toxic and hazardous reagents as well as the laboratory environment.

On September 29, Comrade Pan Weicai led a team to conduct a safety inspection at the Taian District base, with particular focus on fire safety and electrical equipment in the office area, the logistics base, and externally leased units. He emphasized the need to firmly enforce safety responsibilities and strictly adhere to safety red lines.

On September 30, Comrade Sun Xinyong led a team to conduct a safety inspection of the Jinan office complex and all rented premises. The inspection team thoroughly examined fire‑fighting equipment, electrical wiring, and gas‑use safety, and kindly reminded all staff to carry out a comprehensive hazard check before leaving for the holiday, ensuring that “all power is switched off and doors and windows are securely closed” upon departure. They also urged employees to prioritize travel safety during the holiday period to ensure a safe and secure break.

This inspection serves as a powerful tool for deepening the implementation of the “Thunderous Action on Work Safety,” focusing on key areas and critical links across the entire hospital. It aims to conduct a comprehensive review and rectification of safety hazards, rigorously enforce safety risk management during the holiday period, further strengthen all staff’s awareness of safety red lines, and effectively fortify the safety production defense line during the holidays, thereby ensuring the continued stability of the hospital’s overall work safety situation.

Leaders of the institute, senior executives, and responsible officials from the security department accompanied the inspection.
