Recently, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to patent work in 2019, our institute, along with five other sister units within the bureau system, was awarded the title of “Unit with Outstanding Contributions to Patent Work in 2019” by the General Administration.
In recent years, our institute has thoroughly implemented the General Administration’s philosophy of innovation-driven development, leveraging its urban geology research and innovation team as well as ongoing projects to vigorously advance scientific and technological innovation and intensify patent‑application efforts. In 2019, the institute was granted six utility‑model patents and one computer software copyright, and six patent applications were filed. At the beginning of 2020, one additional patent was granted.
Going forward, our institute will continue to uphold the core value of “technology-driven leadership,” pursuing development through innovation and fostering innovation through development, thereby helping our institution become an enterprise that excels in knowledge creation, technological advancement, and dynamic vitality.
