On July 14, as announced on the China Shandong Government Procurement Website, the Mineral Exploration Branch of our institute won the bid for Package A6 of the Shandong Provincial National Survey on Mineral Resources—covering surveys of cement-grade limestone and other mineral types, as well as rock and mineral testing—in the Jinan, Tai’an, Zibo, Weifang, and Yantai regions. The contract value exceeds RMB 1.7 million.
This province-wide survey of mineral resource conditions aims to comprehensively assess the quantity, quality, composition, and spatial distribution of our province’s mineral resources, thereby enabling the digital management and sharing of foundational data. It provides essential support for accurately evaluating the mineral resource landscape and safeguarding the national mineral resource security baseline, while also holding significant practical importance for balancing resource development with ecological conservation and for putting into practice the philosophy that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.”
Going forward, our institute will proactively fulfill its social responsibilities as a central state-owned enterprise, leverage its strengths in geological exploration technology, and, in accordance with standardized and scientific principles, mobilize a highly skilled technical team to systematically engage in project implementation. We will strive to deliver high-quality survey results and establish this initiative as a flagship project for our institute.
