From July 23 to 24, Lin Guoxuan, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Director-General, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the General Administration, together with Xu Jinsong from the Planning and Development Department, paid a visit to our institute to conduct research and provide guidance.
On the afternoon of the 23rd, accompanied by the hospital’s leadership and relevant officials from the base, Lin Guoxuan and his delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the Jinan District Logistics Service Center’s office and residential areas. They inquired in detail about the progress of the separation and handover of the “three utilities and one service” functions, listened to reports on the relocation of certain facilities at the Jinan base and on efforts to revitalize existing land resources, and gained a thorough understanding of the work’s progress and the challenges it faces.
At the research symposium held on the 24th, Lin Guoxuan listened to reports on the Party and administrative work presented by Diao Haizhong, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our institute, as well as on trade union activities delivered by Sun Xinyong, Vice President and head of the trade union. Following the briefings, Lin Guoxuan engaged in in-depth discussions with the participants, offering responses and guidance on the issues and challenges raised by the institute in areas such as production and operations, risk management, Party building, and the advancement of socialized management for retired personnel.
In his concluding remarks, Lin Guoxuan fully commended our institute’s achievements in recent years across production and operations, transformation and upgrading, and talent development. He set forth specific requirements to accelerate the progress of separating and transferring the “three utilities and one service” functions, to refine relevant documentation, and to complete the settlement on schedule. He also put forward five recommendations for the institute’s next phase of development: First, leverage our inherent strengths to cultivate distinctive, high‑value‑added priority industries, striving to build core and brand‑level competitiveness; second, refine institutional mechanisms and further strengthen our talent pool; third, ensure the Party Committee fulfills its role in setting direction, overseeing the big picture, and ensuring implementation, while coordinating the formulation of the 14th Five-Year Plan to clearly define our development path and objectives; fourth, earnestly perform the duties of the trade union, maximizing its contributions to serving the overall work, supporting employees, and strengthening the grassroots level, and completing the union leadership transition on time; and fifth, further deepen the integration of Party building with business operations, using high‑quality Party building to uphold integrity, boost morale, and drive productivity.
