On August 21, Liu Xianzhong, Deputy Director of the Natural Resources Bureau of Laiwu District, Jinan City, along with Liu Jieran, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Shandong Jiuyang Group Co., Ltd., and other members of their delegation, visited our institute for a symposium to discuss matters related to cooperation. Attending the meeting were Diao Haizhong, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our institute; Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President; and Peng Mingzhang, Chief Engineer.
At the symposium, Diao Haizhong provided an overview of the institute’s basic profile, covering its historical development, organizational structure, qualifications and capabilities, and industrial sectors. Leaders from the Laiwu District Bureau of Natural Resources commended the institute’s expertise and professional credentials, expressing their intention to strengthen cooperation in the field of mine‑related geological environment restoration within Laiwu District. Meanwhile, representatives from Jiuyang Group outlined the company’s general background and conveyed their interest in collaborating on the conversion of existing exploration licenses into mining permits.
Through dialogue, both sides unanimously agreed to build on the projects already underway, further strengthen communication and cooperation, and leverage their respective strengths to advance shared development and achieve win-win outcomes.
Qiu Guanghui, Assistant to the Director of our institute and Director of the Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration Institute; Wang Jiguo, Assistant to the Director and Director of the General Office; and Liu Jianwen, Director of the Geological Science and Technology Department (Safety and Environmental Protection Department), among others, attended the symposium.
