The field verification of the diabase reconnaissance project in Qinjiazhuang, Xintai City, received an excellent rating.

 On December 21, Wang Lei, Chief of the Geological Exploration Management Section of the Tai’an Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning; Gao Xiangzuo, Deputy Director of the Xintai Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning; Yu Peng, Chief of the Mineral Resources Protection and Supervision Section; along with a team of experts, visited the field site of our institute’s “Prospecting Project for Diabase Ore (for Ornamental Use) in the Qinjiazhuang Area, Yangliu Town, Xintai City, Shandong Province,” accompanied by Vice President Zhang Shuqi and Wu Shumeng, Director of the Tai’an Geological Branch.

  At the acceptance site, Project Manager Liu Qian provided a detailed report on the major field work completed and the key results achieved by the project team. The acceptance panel first inspected the core samples stored on-site, followed by random on-site checks of field drill holes, engineering sites, and geological survey points. After completing the field inspections, the panel conducted a line-by-line review of the project team’s field data. The expert panel expressed full recognition of the project team’s efforts and offered recommendations for addressing existing issues. Ultimately, the experts unanimously concluded that the project’s fieldwork had reached an excellent standard and approved its acceptance with a composite score of 93. Relevant officials from the Natural Resources and Planning Bureaus of Tai’an City and Xintai City also provided guidance on the project team’s next steps.

  The “Prospecting Survey of Diabase Deposits (for Ornamental Use) in the Qinjiazhuang Area, Xintai City, Shandong Province” was undertaken and implemented by our Taian Geological Branch. The exploration budget exceeded RMB 2.2 million. As a result of the survey, five diabase vein‑type ore bodies were identified; among the 12 drill holes completed, mineralization was encountered in 10, with an average mineralized thickness of approximately 45 meters per hole.
